This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in residential projects who excels in leadership, site management, and delivering high-quality builds on time and within budget.As a Site Superintendent, you will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive project success.Pay Rate: $150,000 - $170,000 annuallyLocation: Calgary, ABSchedule: Full-timeContract: Temp-to-perm potentialVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all on-site construction activities from project start to completionEnsure full compliance with health and safety programs and regulationsDirect and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, tools, and equipmentMaintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of all construction phasesMonitor and enforce quality standards to meet or exceed established proceduresControl project costs and support purchasing processesExecute work in accordance with contracts, drawings, specifications, and change ordersManage and coordinate trade contractors to ensure efficient and professional performanceReview trade scopes of work and identify discrepancies, advising project management accordinglyConduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and best practicesSupport site administration processes and maintain organized project documentationRequirementsMinimum 10 years of experience in construction, preferably in high-rise residential projectsProven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar leadership roleStrong knowledge of residential construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standardsRelevant education in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferredRed Seal Certification considered an assetOSHA or other industry safety certifications considered an assetStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentMust be legally authorized to work and reside in CanadaInterested in this position?
