Position: Construction and Enhancements Crew Member Status: Full-time, Seasonal JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual in landscaping services to complete various landscape enhancements ensuring high quality and timely service for our clients. Qualified applicants will have proven experience, value teamwork and will have a positive, motivating, and upbeat attitude. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES - Reports to Foreman - Promote a positive team environment through motivation, effective communication, team work, and proactive problem-solving skills - Work with a crew of three (3) to six (6) members daily - Execute plans with direction from Foreman for landscape projects - Perform mulching, pruning, and any maintenance as per direction from the Foreman - Perform any repairs required as per direction from the Foreman - Ensure required standard of quality and service is being provided - Opportunity to receive training to operate equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, etc. - Operate and drive company truck(s) as required - Coordinate materials and equipment for each job to ensure productivity - Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service to clients - Conduct daily inspections of assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment and report any damages, issues, etc. - Ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are consistently followed - Ability to work outdoors and occasionally in extreme heat conditions - Long hours could be necessary to ensure tasks are completed - Perform all other duties as assigned or needed QUALIFICATIONS - *PREFERABLY* One year of practical experience in conducting commercial and/or residential landscape enhancements projects - mulching, planting, sod, gardens, pruning, etc. - Valid G driver's license (preferred) - Level 1 First Aid (preferred) - Strong oral and written communication skills - Punctual, trustworthy, and reliable - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver timely results - Positive and professional team attitude - Highly motivated and passionate about the business PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT - Must frequently lift/or move up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lift/or move up to fifty pounds - Physically fit and able to work on feet, bend down and/or crouch for long periods of time - Physically fit and able to work through warm temperatures and long hours when necessary - Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks - The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals - Noise level in the work environment is moderate. Hearing protection, hard hat, and all other PPE must be work in accordance with regulations - As necessary to actively participate in the completion of the daily work schedule
