Senior HR & Labour Relations Leader | Healthcare / Seniors LivingAre you a seasoned HR professional who thrives in complex, people-focused environments?We’re partnering with a respected healthcare organization to find a Senior HR & Labour Relations Leader who can confidently guide leaders, navigate employee relations, and help shape a strong, compliant, and engaged workplace culture.This is a high-impact role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to leadership while supporting teams across both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Acting as a key advisor to leadership on employee relations, labour relations, and workplace matters
  • Leading and supporting complex investigations, including respectful workplace and harassment concerns
  • Guiding managers through performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution
  • Interpreting and advising on collective agreements and union-related matters (where applicable)
  • Ensuring compliance with employment standards, workplace safety, and HR best practices
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies across clinical and operational teams
  • Coaching leaders to strengthen engagement, performance, and team culture
  • Contributing to workforce planning and broader organizational initiatives
What You Bring:
  • 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within healthcare, long-term care, or seniors living
  • Strong background in both labour relations and employee relations
  • Proven experience managing sensitive and complex workplace issues
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence and partner with leaders across the organization
Nice to Have:
  • CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent designation
  • Experience in unionized environments
  • Background in retirement living, long-term care, or healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
