- Demonstrate the ability to work safely and follow established safety protocols.
- Provide on-road and in-office supervision of transit operations.
- Support operators with service issues, customer interactions, and operational challenges.
- Monitor service delivery, schedule adherence, and route performance.
- Conduct incident follow-ups, preliminary investigations, and required documentation.
- Assist with operator coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and collective bargaining agreement (CBA) provisions.
- Liaise with dispatch, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Oversee daily transit operations and overall service delivery.
- Supervise operators and frontline staff, including coaching and disciplinary actions as required.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and customer concerns.
- Conduct safety checks, ride-along evaluations, and incident reporting.
- Manage schedules, staffing levels, and shift communications.
- Utilize transit systems such as Geotab, Traffic Studio, dispatch tools, and reporting software.
- Competitive hourly pay of $ 37.61/hr.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class 1 or 2 driver’s license with air brakes; transit driving experience is an asset.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screening.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in public transit operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Thorough knowledge of local and provincial traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Experience in supervision, safety, and customer service is an asset.
- Security and Conflict Resolution training is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer service–oriented with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other Windows-based programs.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including boarding and inspecting vehicles.
- This is a full-time, unionized, on-site position based at our Vernon location.
- Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM; Friday and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
