- Create member-centric strategies that assist the Credit Union in delivering an exceptional digital member experience with a focus on virtual fulfillment
- Support the Director, Retail Banking by developing and recommending annual growth targets, business development plans and objectives, and product and service enhancements
- Provide guidance and advice to direct reports through coaching and mentoring towards the achievement of business targets and the delivery of exceptional member service. Encourage continuous learning and development
- Provide oversight and advice to the Assistant Manager, Virtual Service and Manager Digital Lending
- Determine staffing and training requirements; Keep track of key metrics related to service standards, member satisfaction and retention, and staff productivity among others. Recommend actions and initiatives as required
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- You will proactively monitor virtual branch results against targets to ensure organizational efficiencies and increased revenues are achieved
- You will manage the growth and profitability of the virtual branch network and monitor financial performance of digital banking on an ongoing basis; identifying areas that require focus and/or adjustment to achieve budgeted results
- You will prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate financial target achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
- Support corporate projects and initiatives, and implementation of new processes, and technologies to respond to members’ expectations and ongoing changes in the Financial Industry. Keep up to date on current industry trends
- Work closely with the Leadership team to ensure adoption of new digital solutions/services and effectively communicates plan to generate momentum, raise awareness and influence behaviours' across the organization
- Volunteer and support community initiatives, projects and events. Assist with identifying potential activities to increase the credit union’s visibility and enhance new business opportunities
- Post-secondary education such as a bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in digital banking or financial services
- Stong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales and performance targets
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
- Knowledge of industry trends and digital banking technologies
- Knowledge of credit practices, policies, and procedures; experience within the credit union system is an asset
