Prospect Health are delighted to be working with a leading and rapidly expanding healthcare provider in Canada to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist for clinics based in Alberta.This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Canada's most established outpatient clinic networks, delivering high-quality, patient-focused mental health services within modern, well-equipped facilities.The OpportunityYou will join a multidisciplinary clinical team providing comprehensive psychiatric care across a diverse patient population. The role offers flexibility, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to develop your own area of clinical interest within a highly supportive and collaborative environment.The organisation operates a large network of outpatient clinics across Canada, supporting thousands of healthcare professionals and delivering accessible, community-based care with a strong emphasis on innovation and patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia Develop and implement personalised treatment plans, including pharmacological and therapeutic interventions Provide ongoing psychiatric care and follow-up for patients Work collaboratively with family physicians, psychologists, and allied health professionals Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with regulatory standards Option to develop specialist interests (e.g. addiction, ADHD, mood disorders, or psychotherapy)
