Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, leveraging financial modeling and system expertise together with strong analytical and communication skills to provide operational support that drives optimal financial decision-making.If you are a results-driven performer who thrives in a fast paced and demanding environment, this is a great chance to grow your FP&A experience in tech!   • Partnership with operational teams to support key commercial initiatives and objectives
  • Opportunity to develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
  • Define and track key financial metrics and key performance indicators
  • Provide detailed explanations for performance deviations and contribute to corrective action plans
  • Ability to continuously refine forecasting methodologies to enhance accuracy and reliability
  • Analyze expenses, providing insights into cost drivers, risks, and opportunities
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports to support decision-making
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and reporting or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
  • Experience using SAP, BPC, or Power BI is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Work Arrangement: This role will be office-based out of either Waterloo, ON office or Richmond Hill, ON office.
