The role includes both Azure Data Engineer and Power BI Reporting Engineer responsibilities. This role is on a team supporting and managing Four Seasons Azure environments and infrastructure and the growing enterprise portfolio of Power BI dashboards and reports. This tool set includes but is not limited to ADL, ADF, Synapse, Data Bricks, AAS, Cosmos DB, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Power BI, and the Power suite.The role includes responsibilities in the technical Run Operations team, working with Four Seasons team as well as contractors and consultants in steady state operations. With Four Seasons’ growth in mind, the role also includes responsibilities to assist in smooth intake and integration of recently-delivered products and sources into efficient day-to-day Run Operations. The role, then, includes active participation in daily Operations stand-up, daily work prioritization, performance and environment monitoring, issue and outage triage, and oversight of resource addressing many ServiceNow queues.The role also includes aspects of technical delivery -- providing key Four Seasons source, infrastructure, data model and KPI knowledge to technical delivery teams as required. The role will also include at times leading their own BI projects and projects teams through requirements collection, build phases, promotion and hyper-care.The candidate is capable of working with the many in our user community, at a breadth of levels, to understand requirements, concerns and issues, and translate and incorporate institutional knowledge into technical solutions. Strong service, communication and problem-solving skills are key.The candidate will work closely with our Manager, IT Data Engineering and Manager, IT Data Operations.This role is based in Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Toronto Corporate Office, reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Business Intelligence and Sales Applications, IT Operations.
