We offer the opportunity to grow professionally and work on exciting building projects across Canada. This is an immediate need toThe successful candidate will:
  • Review of design drawings, shop drawings, etc. for Building Code Compliance
  • Prepare Code compliance drawings, reports, letters, alternative solutions, etc.
  • Conduct site reviews and prepare field review reports.
  • Attend meetings, presentations, occupancy demonstrations, etc.
Qualifications
  • A graduated Technician or Technologist with educational focus in Architectural and Building Technologies (experience in Civil, Mechanical and Structural disciplines is an asset).
  • Experience using Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD LT, Sketchup, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Knowledge of Parts 3 and/or 9 of the Building Code.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).
  • Ability to read and interpret building design drawings (drafting skills are an asset).
  • Team oriented and able to work individually.
  • Hold a valid BC Driver’s License.
Physical and Mental Job Qualifications:
  • Must be able to commute and work in person on a hybrid schedule in our Vancouver office.
  • Must be able to travel to different regions within the British Colombia, and across Canada.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per annum plus benefits and opportunities for advanced training and education. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.Other Duties
