- Operate production equipment and follow recipes accurately according to the production schedule.
- Adjust processing parameters (pre-refiners, refiners, conch temperatures) and add required ingredients per specifications.
- Operate and monitor PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to ensure proper equipment performance.
- Transfer product safely and efficiently between processing equipment and finished tanks.
- Conduct quality checks, including fineness testing and CCP monitoring, and record results.
- Perform basic and preventive maintenance, identifying and escalating mechanical issues when required.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Use SAP and other systems for production data entry, inventory tracking, and documentation accuracy.
- Maintain detailed production logs, shift records, and operational documentation.
- Communicate production status, issues, and shift handover information clearly to team members and leads, while supporting cross-trained roles as needed.
- High school diploma required.
- Food manufacturing experience considered an asset.
- Experience with SAP considered an asset.
- Must be able to freely move around entire facility.
- Must be able to lift 55lbs.
- Ability to work in and be exposed to heat.
Working Hours: Continental shifts 6:45am to 7:00pm / 6:45pm to 7:00am
