Actalent recherche un Développeurde tests Python pour une entreprise aéronautique située dans l’ouest de l’îlede Montréal, pour une opportunité long terme.Description du poste :Nous recherchons un développeur Python talentueux et motivépour rejoindre l’équipe de notre client. Vous serez responsable dudéveloppement et de la modification d’applications logicielles pour un systèmeEGSE (Équipement de Soutien au Sol Électrique) destiné aux charges utiles desatellites. Ce rôle implique la lecture et la compréhension de documents despécifications détaillés, la planification des tâches, l’estimation desefforts, et la réalisation complète du travail. Vous participerez à la conception,au codage, aux tests, au débogage et à la documentation de logiciels de hautequalité dans un environnement de développement agile, en suivant les meilleurespratiques du secteur.Responsabilités :
  • Développer et modifier des applications logicielles en Python.
  • Rédiger la documentation technique et participer aux revues de code et de conception.
  • Participer à l’intégration, aux tests et au déploiement des solutions logicielles.
  • Résoudre les problèmes dans un environnement de production logiciel.
  • Comprendre le système testé et son contexte opérationnel.
  • Configurer des bancs d’essai et développer des scripts en Python et en C++.
Compétences essentielles :
  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en développement Python.
  • Au moins 3 ans d’expérience avec des systèmes embarqués.
  • Capacité à tester son propre code dans des environnements embarqués.
  • Maîtrise de l’anglais.
  • Capacité à répondre aux normes de fiabilité et de sécurité.
Compétences et qualifications supplémentaires :
  • Connaissances de base en C++.
  • Expérience en développement et en test de produits matériels.
  • Familiarité avec les microcontrôleurs, les analyseurs RF et les alimentations électriques.
  • Connaissance des normes DO-178.
  • Connaissance des protocoles MIL-STD-1553 et CCSDS.
  • Connaissance des protocoles CAN bus et SpaceWire.
  • Expérience en tests fonctionnels automatisés de systèmes.
  • Expérience avec JIRA pour le suivi de projet et la gestion des problèmes.

In this role, you will be responsible for developingand modifying software applications for an Electrical Ground Support Equipment(EGSE) system targeting satellite payloads. The ideal candidate will becomfortable interpreting detailed requirement documents, estimating effort,planning tasks, and driving work to completion. You will contribute to thedesign, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of high-quality softwarewithin an agile development environment, following industry best practices.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and modify Python-based software applications.
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in code and design reviews.
  • Support integration, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues in a software production environment.
  • Understand the system under test and its operational context.
  • Set up test benches and develop scripts in Python and C++.
Essential Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Python development.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with embedded systems.
  • Proven ability to test code within embedded environments.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • Ability to meet reliability and security standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of C++.
  • Experience in hardware product development and testing.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, RF analyzers, and power supplies.
  • Understanding of DO-178 standards.
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553 and CCSDS protocols.
  • Experience with CAN bus and SpaceWire protocols.
  • Experience in automated system functional testing.
  • Experience using JIRA for project tracking and issue management.
