- Leads, develops, and coaches a staff of Operations professionals while utilizing Solenis’ processes and programs to ensure a safe and consistent work environment
- Meets/exceeds operational goals defined by Plant Manager, Senior Operations Director, and Solenis by managing the Operations departments and operational KPIs
- Is a critical leader and contributor to continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Meets or exceeds financial and budgetary goals for designated departments and the site
- Shares accountability for improving and sustaining autonomous and preventative maintenance by the operators
- Develops, implements, and ensures adherence to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for each area of production assigned
- Demonstrates and coaches lean fundamentals with Supervisors, TPLs (Team Performance Leader) and production team members
- Champions the site continuous improvement program and ensures site order and cleanliness standards support a safe, healthy and productive work environment
- Collaborates with the Planning and Quality managers to review the production plan and ensure customer orders will be fulfilled on time and in full
- Partners with the maintenance department to coordinate planned maintenance activities
- Leads and supports root cause analysis, process and follow through for safety incidents and quality defects
- Trains and coaches employees by utilizing the Solenis’ Performance Management and Training programs
- Maintains an up-to-date cross training matrix for every line
- Ensures all production transactions are properly recorded in SAP
- Contributes to development of annual operating budgets, especially relative to required

- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or similar degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of work experience in process-oriented manufacturing environment (preferably in chemical, food, beverage sectors) with at least 3 years managing a team
- Experience/ knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SAP or other comparable ERP system, and Microsoft Office
- Stands and walks the production floor for prolonged periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations

- Tolerates various levels of heat with or without reasonable accommodations
- Strong quantitative ability and comfort with data driven decision processes
- Possesses exceptional communication and negotiation skills
