Reporting to the Mine Engineering Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a licensed Professional Engineer, supporting a long-term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.Assist with daily mine engineering tasks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.Support mine planning, design, and scheduling activities.Collaborate with operations, geology, and maintenance teams to optimize mine performance.Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts.Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption.Learn to use mine engineering software and tools.Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills. * Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional engineering licensureQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.Your Work Schedule:Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.You must be willing to work on a rotational schedule at a remote mine site.
