Responsibilities
- Providing coverage advice on policy interpretation and draft coverage opinions in relation to a variety of insurance policies across numerous industry sectors
- Supporting senior counsel on complex matters
- Business development and professional profile enhancement
- Mentorship of junior lawyers
- Meeting billable and non-billable targets
- People/team leadership, mentorship and management
- Legally entitled to practice law in Canada
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
- At least 5 years of civil litigation experience
- Excellent English oral and written skills and communication ability
- Strong organization and teamwork skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage a busy practice alongside Legal Assistants and Clerks
