We are looking for a casual Dietary Aide to join our Sidney Care team!What is in for you?
  • Starting wage levelling at $24.34 per hour.

  • Maintains a safe, clean and organized kitchen and storage area
  • Supports the Chef/Cook in the kitchen, so it runs to time with having snacks and meals prepared ready to serve
  • Helps direct portions sizes are appropriated and requested taking into consideration likes, dislikes and allergies
  • Maintains a log for the fat trap maintenance and emptying
  • Ensures a safe, clean and secure environment in the kitchen and dining room for staff, residents and visitors
  • Attends Infection Control meetings once every two months
What we need from you:
  • Graduate of secondary education (Grade 10)
  • Valid Food Safe Handling Certificate Level One required
  • Proof of vaccination
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrates good time management
  • Flexibility, can work independently
  • Physically and mentally able to perform duties for above position
  • Shows a caring and considerate attitude to resident, visitors and staff
About us:Sidney Care is located on Vancouver Island in sunny Sidney, BC and offers residential care to 54 clients. Sidney Care has been in operation for many years and provides a home like environment to its residents. The care home was recently renovated and is tastefully decorated.
