They will be responsible for system analysis, troubleshooting, implementing solutions, and recommending upgrades to help deliver secure, efficient, and reliable systems.What you'll do
  • Leading the infrastructure system design and delivery for new systems, upgrades, or replacements.
  • Implement complex VLAN, SAN and Network solutions at customer sites, using a variety of technologies (Fortinet, HP, Meraki, Cisco).
  • Oversight of infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
  • Building, testing, and maintaining servers and the VDI environment.
  • Authoring and updating infrastructure, support, and procedures documentation
  • Ensure configuration, change and event management processes, procedures and controls are implemented and adhered to.
  • Read and write scripts in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
  • Provide technical assistance on windows and cloud-based systems and resolve operational problems.
  • Compare, evaluate, implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment.
  • Provides technical expertise and assistance on level 2 and 3 support.
What you bring
  • Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in IT development and/or IT consulting; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying and supporting complex system infrastructures.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Windows Server 2022 and below, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange.
  • Intermediate knowledge of server maintenance, release management, and change control processes.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of virtualization and containerization.
  • Intermediate knowledge of systems availability, backup, and disaster recovery disciplines.
  • Exposure to SAN design, implementation, and support.
  • Strong LAN/WAN skills (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with the Fortinet family of products, encompassing Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), and FortiManager.
  • Exposure to Intune.
