- Conducting a vehicle inspection and verifying the mechanical condition of fleet vehicles.
- Carrying out a pre- and post-trip search of fleet vehicle to ensure the security of the vehicle, and to ensure that all equipment requirements is on board
- Completing a post-trip cleaning and sanitization of fleet vehicle
- Searching individuals and their luggage
- Logging individuals’ valuables before taking charge of them
- Transporting individuals, luggage, and person effects
- Ensuring the control and safety custody of individuals during their transport
- Ensuring adherence to child vehicle safety procedure and laws
- Picking up or dropping off and escorting individuals between the vehicle and end destination.
- Escorting individuals and their luggage through the airport
- Escorting individuals coming from or going to various Provincial and Federal facilities, police stations, courthouses, airports, IRB offices, hospitals, consular offices or embassies to their end destination.
- Confirming departure of individuals as a part of departure verification procedures
- Completing paperwork as required and submitting to the Shift Supervisor and CBSA
- Ensuring the transfer of individuals’ property (e.g., money or valuables or both, medication, etc.)
- Informing the satellite offices of the arrival of individuals in CBSA’s custody, as required
- Completing incident reports of accidents or damage to the vehicle before the end of each shift
- Any other duties relating to the services of this requirement as specified in the POSOPs.
- Fluency in English, spoken and written. Fluency in French is an asset
- Excellent communication, customer service and people skills
- Previous experience in the security industry
- Strong computer skills
- Flexible availability for day shift 0800-1600
- Leadership and problem-solving skills

- Ability to stand on foot and walk for long periods of time

- Saskatchewan Security Guard Training Certificate
- Full Class 5 Drivers license with clean drivers abstract
- First Aid and AED
- Must be able to obtain a Transportation Canada Security Clearance (RAIC)
- Over 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Residence
