Position Purpose:The Phased Array Technician will be responsible for performing advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) methods to detect and evaluate discontinuities in materials and welds. The successful candidates will contribute to ensuring the structural integrity and safety of critical infrastructure for our upcoming inspection project.Due to the nature of this position there will be on-call and overtime requirements as well as some travel.We are currently hiring for an exciting short-term project running from September 9 to 28, 2025, and are looking to fill 15 positions with qualified and motivated individuals.Required Certifications:2 positions - Phased Array Ultrasonic TestingValid H2S AliveFall ProtectionConfined Space EntryD&A TestingShift Information:Day and Night shifts available (7 on, 7 off)Initial shifts will be 10 hours, transitioning to 12-hour shiftsFlexibility and reliability are essential due to shift rotations and extended hoursLocation:Preference will be given to local candidates in the Edmonton areaWe are also open to candidates from across Alberta and Western Canada Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) inspections in accordance with industry standards and client specificationsAccurately interpret data and document findings in detailed inspection reportsPerform calibrations and maintain NDT equipmentFollow all safety protocols and work procedures, especially within confined spaces or elevated areasCollaborate with other technicians and site personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operationsMaintain professional conduct and represent the company with integrity on-site Knowledge and Skills:Proficient in operating and interpreting results from PAUT equipmentStrong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, CGSB, or equivalent)Able to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsPhysically capable of working extended shifts in industrial environments, including confined spaces and heights Education and Work Experience:Valid CGSB or equivalent certification in Phased Array Ultrasonic TestingMinimum of 1–2 years' experience in PAUT field work preferred Working Conditions:
