6-10 years | MontréalOur client is a leader in clean technologies and advanced industrial solutions.To ensure high-quality support for its internal teams, they are seeking a Director of Legal Affairs.Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, you will play a central role within the organization and be involved in a wide range of legal matters. You will act as a strategic partner to senior management and business teams, supporting their decision making with legal, commercial, and operational implications. In this role, you will analyze and manage risks related to the company's activities, while leading the negotiation, drafting, and review of a variety of commercial contracts. You will also ensure compliance with requirements applicable to public companies, particularly with respect to continuous disclosure obligations. You will play a key role in corporate governance by preparing for and participating in meetings of the board of directors and its committees, as well as overseeing the organization of the annual shareholders' meeting. Finally, you will coordinate the management of disputes with external legal counsel and represent the company before regulatory authorities and stock exchanges.Stimulation, innovation, and collaboration define this role, allowing you to guide and support teams on strategically significant matters.If you have relevant experience in corporate law, are bilingual, and a member of the bar in a Canadian province, we would like to hear from you.
