- Review Specifications: Ensure full understanding of deliverables by reviewing functional and design specifications.
- Design Test Plans: Identify test requirements, map test case needs, and design comprehensive test coverage plans.
- Execute Tests: Create and manage end-to-end test plans, ensuring all objectives are met and solutions work as expected.
- Validate Deliverables: Ensure validated deliverables meet specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate: Work with development and infrastructure teams to test, build, assess, and troubleshoot applications.
- Document: Develop and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts.
- Defect Management: Isolate, replicate, report defects, and verify fixes.
- Research: Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and automated techniques.
- Support: Provide guidance to QA Analysts and software development teams.
- Knowledge Transfer: Cooperate with team members in testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to evaluations of new tools, processes, techniques, and technologies.
- Experience: 2-4 years of proven QA experience, understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Agile Environment: Experience working in Agile development settings.
- Certifications: ISTQB Certification is an asset.
- Remote Work: Experience with remote and virtual teams is an asset.
- Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
- Skills: Self-motivated, organized, curious, analytical, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables.
- Automated Testing Development: Where using Playwright or equivalent tools is an asset.
- Degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Automation test frameworks.
- Experience testing APIs.
- Ability to automate test cases using test tools.
- Experience with databases, including MS SQL.
