- Establish benchmarking frameworks to evaluate business performance against industry standards
- Develop competitor performance indicators, to monitor market positioning, opportunities and risks
- Conduct comprehensive market and industry analysis to inform strategic planning and executive decision-making.
- Assess emerging risks and opportunities related to political, economical or industry shifts.
- Evaluate new markets and expansion opportunities, synthesizing findings into actionable insights for leadership.
- Lead profitability assessments across products, business lines, and client segments to guide strategic resource allocation.
- Conduct cost accounting analysis, including activity-based costing, reviewing service delivery, product, and sales costs, to strengthen product-level profitability
- Build reporting frameworks and dashboards that deliver clear, data-driven insights.
- Lead the assessment and implementation of FP&A tool, ensuring KPI’s and performance data are fully integrated into reporting and planning.
- Establish strong relationships with leaders across Finance, Sales, Product, HR, and Operations.
- Partner with business units to integrate data and ensure financial insights are aligned with operational realities.
- Communicate findings clearly and persuasively, tailoring messages to diverse stakeholders.
- Lead high-impact finance initiatives, ensuring alignment, execution, and adoption.
- Provide forward-looking analysis and recommendations to the CEO, CFO, and AVP Finance.
- Prepare executive briefing materials and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, strategy, or consulting, with exposure to competitive/market analysis.
- Strong expertise in FP&A processes, profitability analysis, and incentive plan evaluation.
- Experience with high-growth industries and/or international expansion is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and other analytical platforms.
- Curious, open-minded, and comfortable exploring new ideas and approaches.
- Skilled at both leading strategically and executing detailed analysis.
- Collaborative communicator with a proven ability to influence across departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
- CPA, MBA, CFA, or relevant graduate qualification strongly preferred.
