Our growing Mississauga client who is a leader in Collision Repair is looking for an Automotive Service Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years related experience and has their 310S.We are looking for a dedicated Automotive Service Technician to be an integral part of the daily operations.You will be charged with assessing vehicle damage in terms of mechanical and electrical components. Ensuring 'what matters' to our customers is central to how the business operates by achieving customer satisfaction and financial performance while producing quality repairs.What You'll Do:Use diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair electric faultsAbility to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, identify root causes and develop solutionsDiagnose and repair mechanical damage, e.g. Engine, suspension, steeringDiagnose and repair air-conditioning, refrigeration and heating systems.Diagnose and repair wiring and other electrical systems and equipmentUse computerized machine for wheel alignmentEnsure repairs flow through workshop and identify issues that result in failureBe an active member of the team encouraging a collaborative working environment focusing on what matters to the customerMaintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipmentFollow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of materialsWhat You'll Bring:Red Seal - Automotive Service Technician certificate (310S)Minimum 3 years of experience working within the auto repair industry, preferably in a collision repairI-Car, manufacturer or other certifications are an assetExperience diagnosing and calibrating ADAS systems preferredValid driver's licenseCommitment to an environment of continuous improvementStrong knowledge of automotive/equipment preventative maintenance, refurbishment and repair practices and proceduresExcellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skillsEffectively manage a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multi-tasking ability while working under pressureDemonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologiesAbility to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, identify root causes and develop solutionsDetail oriented approach with strong organizational skillsAbility to take direction and perform well under pressureHours- Mon-Friday 8:30am-5pm
