We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our clients fabrication team in a fast-paced and growing manufacturing environment.You will be responsible for supervising approximately 15 production employees across welding, fitting, CNC machining, and powder coating operations. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication, and the ability to balance people leadership with production priorities.Location: Richmond Hill, ON
Position Type: Full-Time, PermanentPay: Starting at $65,000 annually
Compensation: RRSP match + benefits + company share program + bonusesKey Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily production activities across fabrication, welding, CNC, and powder coating departments.
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to support accurate and efficient production.
  • Plan and coordinate workflow, staffing, and resources to optimize output and meet deadlines.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of approximately 15 production employees.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork on the shop floor.
  • Support process improvement and cost-reduction efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as required in a hands-on, physically active leadership role.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a fabrication or automotive manufacturing environment (supervisory experience preferred).
  • Engineering background considered an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of welding, fitting, CNC machining, and powder coating processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
  • Demonstrated experience managing production schedules and workflow.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
