Within AMPD, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals committed to revolutionizing advanced manufacturing, making a significant impact in the industry and, most importantly, improving patient care through the manufacture of better therapeutics.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Rotating Shift work. 12 hour shifts, two weeks of days followed by two weeks of nightsOperating and maintaining various stationary equipment, including boilers, chillers, air compressors, and HVAC systemsMonitoring and controlling all systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations during the shiftPerforming routine inspections and preventative maintenance of systems and equipment to ensure optimal performanceTroubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions as necessary to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operationsMaintaining accurate logs of all system operations, maintenance activities, and repairsPerforming appropriate water tests on water systemsEnsuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standardsCollaborating with other departments, including maintenance, production, and engineering, to support operational goalsResponding to emergency situations, alarms, and system failures and take appropriate action to resolve issuesAssisting with equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications as neededEnsuring the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocolsQualificationsQualificationsRequired:Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate preferredMinimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role: maintaining boilers, chillers, HVAC and PLC SystemsDesired:Good oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of cGMP guidelinesMillwright, Electrical, Electro-mechanical or plumbing trainingComputer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledgeAdditional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $23.88 - $41.79/hr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
