Job Description:Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career and work directly in the heart of the manufacturing sector? Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys full-cycle accounting responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) processes: invoice entry, coding, payment runs, vendor reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, and reporting support.
  • Perform account reconciliations (bank, AP, AR, inventory, intercompany).
  • Support finance team with audit prep, data analysis, and ad hoc projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements:Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience (manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle AP, journal entries, month-end closing, and reconciliations.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field; pursuing CPA is an asset.
