- Support EHS Programs: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct Inspections and Audits: Participate in routine safety inspections, hazard assessments, and internal audits.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Gather and analyze EHS data, prepare reports, and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Incident Investigation Support: Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
- Training and Communication: Help develop and deliver safety training materials and communications to plant personnel.
- Waste and Recycling Management: Support initiatives related to waste reduction, recycling, and environmental sustainability.
- Participate in Safety Meetings: Attend and contribute to safety committee meetings and toolbox talks.
- Contractor Safety Management: Assist in onboarding and monitoring contractors to ensure compliance with site safety protocols.
- Emergency Preparedness: Support emergency response planning, including drills, equipment checks, and documentation updates.
- Ergonomics and Workplace Assessments: Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend improvements to reduce risk of injury.
- Chemical Inventory and SDS Management: Help maintain chemical inventories and ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are up to date and accessible.
- Regulatory Research: Assist in researching and interpreting applicable environmental and safety regulations.
- Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional tasks as needed to support the EHS team and plant operations.
