$160,000–$190,000 CAN Base + 60% BonusWe are seeking a dynamic, bilingual HR leader to serve as the senior HR executive for a 1000 employee Jumbo Food & Beverage non-union manufacturing facility in Canada, supporting end-to-end Supply Chain Operations while reporting into Corporate HR in the United States.This is a high-impact role within a Fortune 500, global matrix-led manufacturing organization, ideal for a seasoned HR professional who understands Canadian labor law, thrives in complex environments, and is still hungry to grow their career at scale.The OpportunityThis role is more than plant HR leadership — it is strategic ownership of people and culture for Canadian Supply Chain Operations.As the on-site HR leader, you will:Lead HR strategy for a large, multi-shift manufacturing workforceSupport and influence senior plant and supply chain leadershipDrive cultural transformation in a highly matrixed global environmentManage and develop a team of approximately 10 hourly and salaried HR professionalsServe as the bridge between Canadian operations and U.S. Corporate HRYou will operate at both strategic and operational levels — shaping workforce strategy while staying close to plant realities.What You Will LeadStrategic HR PartnershipServe as a trusted advisor to Plant Leadership and Supply Chain executivesAlign workforce strategy with operational goals and productivity targetsNavigate a global matrix while advocating for Canadian operationsCanadian Labor & Compliance ExpertiseEnsure full compliance with Canadian federal and provincial labor regulationsLead employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigationsPartner effectively with union and non-union populations as applicableSupply Chain & Manufacturing HR LeadershipDrive workforce planning for large-scale, 24/7 manufacturing operationsSupport succession planning and leadership development across plant & end-to-end supply chain operationsChampion change management initiatives tied to operational transformationPeople & Team LeadershipLead and develop a team of ~10 HR professionals (hourly & salaried)Elevate HR capability, accountability, and business partnership skillsFoster a high-performance, people-first cultureData & Operational InsightLeverage analytics and HR systems (Workday, Kronos, etc.) to inform decisionsDrive measurable improvements in engagement, retention, and workforce stabilityIdeal ProfileWe are looking for a leader who brings:✔ 8–15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
✔ Experience supporting large-scale Fortune 500 manufacturing environments
✔ Strong exposure to CPG or Food & Beverage manufacturing preferred
✔ Demonstrated success within global matrix-led organizations
✔ Deep understanding of Canadian labor law and compliance requirements
✔ Experience supporting complex Supply Chain operations
✔ Proven leadership managing and developing HR teams
✔ Fluent French & English (written and verbal) — requiredYou are strategic but operational.
