Your place in our storyReporting into the Senior Director, Infrastructure & IT Operations this is a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of our company. You'll be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network and infrastructure systems. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of all IT infrastructure components while managing a team of skilled professionals and collaborating with cross-functional departments.The Manager, Network & Infrastructure will leverage strong technical and leadership skills to motivate and support a diverse team in executing high quality projects as well as ongoing maintenance and support of all systems in scope.Here's how you'll contributeKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Leadership:
  • Identify emerging trends, evaluate new technologies, and recommend integration opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, system administrators, and infrastructure specialists.
  • Foster collaboration, skill development, and career growth within the technology team.
  • Foster collaboration with all stakeholders throughout the organization.
Operational:
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure and network.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of network operations, systems administration, and cloud services.
  • Ensure high availability for all systems in scope and meeting all operational KPIs.
  • Measure, monitor and maintain the team's ability to meet or exceed response and resolution Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards.
Risk Management:
  • Liaise with the Security Team to implement best practices in security to protect against cyber threats.
  • Manage risk and maintain business continuity plans.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly test comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Vendor Management:
  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and optimize technology investments.
  • Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure and network projects.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their value and effectiveness for the organization.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize technology costs while maintaining or improving service quality and reliability.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field
  • Proven hands-on experience (10+ years) in technology leadership roles
Experience & Technical Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge and operational experience with Citrix VDI and Netscaler infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge and operational experience with Microsoft Server platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge and operational experience with VMWare Virtualcenter and ESXi infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise applications, and best practices specific to Microsoft Azure.
  • Advanced knowledge of public cloud architectures, using IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), SaaS (Software as a Service).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration is considered an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Commvault backup infrastructure is considered an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, ISE, wireless controllers, and Meraki SD-WAN infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of security concepts to provide practical expertise solution remediation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of new and emerging technologies and trends

  • Ability to develop architectural solutions and technology roadmaps for a multi-site organization
  • Ability to resolve significant integration and technical issues
  • Ability to lead and motivate technology teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, fast-paced, and dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
