Location: Oakville, ON (Hybrid)
Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 base + performance bonus + benefits
Industry: Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) – Home OrganizationAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a driven, mid-career account management professional to join our North American Key Account Sales team. This is a critical role focused on managing and growing some of the most strategic retail relationships including Walmart, Canadian Tire, Loblaw, as well as The Home Depot, Sam's Club, Lowes, US Dollar, etc. You’ll act as a daily right-hand liaison to the President Sales, including upcoming line reviews, RFQ's and responding to customer requests.This isn’t just account management—it’s about becoming a trusted partner to our customers, anticipating needs, and delivering consistently with data, insight, and personality.What You’ll DoKey Account ManagementOwn day-to-day relationships with Walmart and other major accounts (e.g., Canadian Tire, The Home Depot, Loblaws, Sams Club)Manage communications, issue resolution, and ongoing updates with buyers and internal stakeholdersSupport high-profile line reviews and prepare comprehensive sales presentationsSales Support & AnalysisPartner closely with our President of Global Sales as a right-hand contact for reporting, strategy, and follow-throughProvide administrative excellence across:PO trackingInventory managementMargin & P&L analysisForecastingBudget trackingItem setup & vendor complianceUtilize platforms such as Retail Link, Syndigo, and othersProject CoordinationLead product launch coordination and preparationMonitor project timelines and deliverables with operations and product development teamsFlag risks or roadblocks early and oftenMarket Research & DevelopmentTrack competitor activity and customer shiftsIdentify new opportunities and assist in customer-specific strategy planningParticipate in retailer visits and ideation sessionsWhat You Bring5+ years of account management experience in CPG retail (Mass, DIY, Canadian Tire, Walmart, etc.)Strong familiarity with large retailer platforms like Retail Link, Vendor Gateway, Syndigo, etc.Deep knowledge or experience in categories such as Housewares, Storage, or Home Organization is a plusProven success managing key retail relationships and hitting commercial goalsOutstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills—can build clean reports, presentations, and forecast modelsHands-on, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environmentAble to work side-by-side with leadership while also operating independentlyStrong communication skills—with customers, peers, and cross-functional teamsWho You AreThe right combination of experience and hungerConfident, personable, proactive, and ready to sell yourself and your ideasLooking for growth: this role has a path to National Account ManagerAdditional DetailsHybrid role: Expect 3–5 days/week in-office initially as you ramp upTemporary office in Burlington ON until new space opensWe want to hear from passionate, driven account managers ready to take the next step!
