As practice leader, you support your unit’s manager by providing subject matter expertise to practitioners. You coordinate and mentor a group of highly experienced professionals and assist with management activities. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You lead and serve as integrator on highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors. You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. A strategic mindset, organizational savvy and sound decision-making skills are therefore essential. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. You lead, influence and serve as subject matter expert to teams, senior management and decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to :Develop your practice area and serve as its leading expertProduce and organize complex strategic work and deliverablesProvide expert support and mentoring with respect to analysis, strategy development, personalized approaches and case managementHelp professionals in your unit develop their skillsHelp plan and manage your unit’s priorities and assign employees to projects and initiatives.
