We're grateful to be known as a company that cares deeply about our commitment to a culture of zero harm, ensuring product quality, supporting employee well-being and exposure across the mining value chain, and positively impacting the communities we serve.Job Summary:Windsor Salt's Evaporation Facility in Windsor, Ontario, has an opening for an Engineering Co-op Student for the upcoming Winter 2026 term. The successful applicant will provide technical support to the Engineering and management team at Windsor Salt.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor project assignments
  • Follow compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
  • Assist Project Engineers in matters relating to the selection of new equipment, material substitution and prescheduled alterations or repairs as required.

  • Safety-conscious team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
In addition, this individual will:
  • Be registered in an accredited University Engineering Co-op Program
  • Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD would be considered an asset
  • Mandatory G/G2 Driver's License is required for this position
