Location: Toronto (On-site)Our client is seeking a Director of Financial Systems & Platforms to lead the strategy, delivery, and optimization of enterprise-wide finance technology. This senior leadership role will focus on modernizing platforms, driving integrations, and ensuring financial systems are scalable, compliant, and aligned with long-term business objectives. Expertise with Yardi and ERP solutions will be key to success in this role.Your New Role:- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Yardi and related enterprise financial platforms, ensuring systems are scalable, stable, and aligned with business goals
- Partner with stakeholders at all levels to align business needs with Yardi capabilities, driving governance, compliance, and process efficiency
- Manage multiple projects, enhancements, and competing priorities as well as navigate and apply sound judgment in technology trade-offs, integrations, risk, and compliance.
- Direct and mentor managers and analysts fostering a high-performance team delivering continuous system improvements
- Drive project governance, planning, and timely issue resolution across the Yardi platform and related enterprise systems.
- Champion change adoption by guiding business users through new features, rollouts, and training initiatives
- Align tactical actions with long-term strategic business goals, including expansion into new domains such as Residential.
- Document and map business processes to support operational efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative culture with vendor partners and internal teams, always seeking ways to enhance Yardi's impact across the organization.What you bring:- 10+ years in managing financial systems, with deep hands-on Yardi (Voyager, Investment Management, PayScan, etc.) and ERP ecosystems expertise.
- Track record of delivering enterprise-scale integrations, system improvements and overseeing data flows across multiple platforms.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, GAAP/IFRS, and compliance frameworks (SOX, audit controls).
- Strategic mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder / vendor management skills.
