This hybrid role requires on-site presence approximately 12 days per month and the ability to obtain a Reliability Clearance.This position is ideal for a senior-level developer with strong experience in enterprise systems, cloud migrations, and integration modernization, who thrives in Agile environments and enjoys working on complex, high-impact initiatives.Salary: $125,000 - $180,000Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid - 12 days/month on-site)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (overtime may be required)Job Type: Full-time | Temporary | 1.5-year contractResponsibilitiesAct as a senior technical contributor within Scrum teams, providing hands-on development and technical supportSupport Azure cloud migration initiatives, including application and integration migration, environment design, and post-migration stabilizationModernize and migrate integration flows (e.g., MuleSoft) into Spring Boot-based microservicesProvide senior-level support for enterprise data platforms, including upgrades, impact analysis, remediation, and coordination with vendorsContribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline implementation, deployment automation, and version control strategiesSupport and enhance testing strategies including unit, integration, and system testingTroubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system performanceDevelop and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and operational runbooksCollaborate with technical leads, product owners, and architects to support project deliveryQualificationsMust be eligible to work and reside within CanadaUniversity degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related fieldMinimum of 7 years of hands-on software development experience in enterprise environmentsMinimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise data platforms and integration systems (e.g., Markit EDM or similar)Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Azure cloud migrationsStrong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, including microservices architectureProven experience modernizing enterprise integration platformsExperience with enterprise messaging systems such as IBM MQ or Red Hat AMQHands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deploymentsStrong SQL and database optimization skillsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Knowledge of financial markets, securities, or reference data domainsExperience with .NET and IIS environmentsExperience with enterprise job scheduling toolsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex initiativesMust be eligible to obtain a Reliability Security ClearanceInterested in this position?
