  • Must have experience operating an Asphalt Roller on major roadways, ensuring the surface material is to the desired compaction and smoothness.
  • Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
  • Follow project specifications and instructions from supervisors to achieve desired compaction levels.
  • Inspect and maintain the roller machine to ensure proper functioning.
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to optimize performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Experience
  • Previous experience operating a roller machine is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operation principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Maintains a valid Class 5 driver's license or better.
  • Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite.
