From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGS’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forAs a Core Operations Officer, you willExecute of onboarding plan and associated activities supporting accounting, custody and insurance clientsCoordinate client conversion activity including new client onboardings, outgoing conversions, transition management, mergers, interfund transfers and in-kind transfers with internal teams and external stakeholdersEnsure accurate and timely settlement of securities transfers across global marketsLiaise with counterparties and other financial institutions to facilitate transfersAdhere to regulatory standards during the conversion processSupport new client relationships and expansion of existing relationshipsCommunicate with clients and internal stakeholders to assess overall conversion status, identify and work collectively to ensure processing follows best practicesMonitor potential risks associated with asset movements and conversionsAct as a point of contact for addressing inquiries related to assets transfers and custody settlementsEnsure project management is updated, highlighting all potential risks with possible solutions in a timely mannerDevelop and foster a culture of collaboration within the team and across business linesWork in partnership with teams and management across the organization on conversions and ad-hoc support requestsWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleKnowledge of Investment Manager Servicing, Transaction Management, Capital Markets, Back Office Accounting and Custody operations, Recon and Core State Street business offeringsPrevious experience in a client service and/or accounting role preferredStrong knowledge of global custody operations, settlement processes and asset servicingProven strong communication, interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skillsOrganized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentEducation & Preferred QualificationsMinimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a focus in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Technical or related field preferredMinimum 4+ years financial services experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and ExcelExperience with ePAM Insurance a plusAdditional requirementsCandidate is expected to follow State Street corporate policies regarding return to office (RTO).About State StreetWhat we do.
