- Supply Continuity: Partner cross-functionally to ensure consistent, timely procurement of goods and services aligned with company policies
- ERP Planning: Use ERP systems to manage efficient material replenishment while considering inventory and production impacts
- Demand Response: Proactively address fluctuations in demand, availability, and quality with practical, data-driven solutions
- Purchase Orders: Issue, track, and follow up on purchase orders, including receipt verification and delay resolution
- KPI Reporting: Monitor supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements based on data insights
- Requisition Management: Review and action purchase requisitions, aligning sourcing with service and specification needs
- Product Lifecycle: Support product launches, changes, and end-of-life transitions with Sales and onboarding teams
- Supplier Quality: Lead corrective actions for non-conforming goods or services and manage follow-ups with suppliers
- Vendor Performance: Evaluate supplier delivery and quality performance to ensure OTIF targets are met
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and customers
- Logistics Resolution: Address customs and logistics challenges to maintain smooth material flow
- Contracts Support: Assist in implementing and managing supplier contracts and performance agreements
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate item master data, including costs and order parameters
- Project Support: Contribute to special projects that enhance purchasing and supply chain processes
- Compliance: Follow all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management System requirements
- Post-secondary diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of supply chain experience in manufacturing or distribution
- Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, Visual)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting, forecasting, or performance tracking
- Experience working with suppliers and/or customers in procurement, logistics, or service roles
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Clear communication and collaboration skills across teams and partners
- SCMP designation or project management experience is an asset
