What & Why:As a result of investment in mobile technology our client is looking to add an iOS developer with SwiftUI to their digital team developing products for both internal users as well as end customers. In this role you will lead the design, development, and optimization of innovative iOS experiences that support in-store products. You will be responsible for owning the full delivery lifecycle of mobile products, ensuring high reliability, performance, and production readiness. Acting as a technical leader, you'll contribute to product roadmaps, mentor other engineers, drive platform-level improvements, and collaborate across teams to advance mobile solutions using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern development practices. You'll also participate in production support rotations and help continuously enhance our clients in-store mobile experience. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and has a hybrid work environment, in office 4 days a week.You:You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
  • 7+ years of engineering experience.
  • Significant iOS knowledge and experience, specifically around Swift, SwiftUI and the MVVM model.
  • Experience and knowledge in App performance tools such as Xcode Instruments and Firebase.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in mobile development.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles and best-practices.
  • Experience working with bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA, etc.
  • Experience developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses and other relevant domains such as manufacturing & logistics, supply chain, or corporate shared services.
