We’re seeking an experienced Estimator to manage and prepare cost estimates from conceptual design through to construction documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of high-rise residential construction, experience with trade contractor pricing, and a proven ability to work within tight deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present accurate cost estimates and budgetsCoordinate with consultants to obtain required project dataVerify trade pricing using historical data and current market trendsPartner with Project Managers to analyze and compare bidsRecommend value engineering options and cost-saving strategiesOrganize and manage estimating schedules and workload prioritiesReview drawings, specifications, and other documentation for estimating purposesSupport tender processes and bid analysisMaintain and update unit rate data and pre-qualified subtrade listsCollaborate with internal teams to support scheduling and budget accuracyQualificationsDegree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Technology, or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of high-rise residential construction estimating (GTA experience preferred)Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel expertise required); familiarity with Procore, Revit, BIM, or Plan Swift is an assetExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesCompensation & PerksSalary range: $90,000 – $140,000, based on experienceCollaborative and growth-focused team environmentModern office located in downtown Toronto, steps from transitSummer hours with early Friday departuresFrequent team-building activities
