Job Requisition ID #24WD76334Position OverviewAutodesk's Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) team is hiring Software Quality Assurance Specialists to join our Inventor team. This is an exciting time to join us on our multi-year journey to disrupt the Design to Manufacture world by delivering un-precedented value and converging workflows. You'll be reporting to our Quality Assurance Manager and you'll help us increase the quality of our flagship 3D design product. You will work with a global engineering team to help define & develop product validation strategy, drive automation, advocate for customers, and represent Quality Assurance during the product development cycle. You'll help us develop, drive, and execute a coherent, progressive, systematical, customer-centric SQA strategy for Autodesk's Inventor product line, world-class 2D and 3D mechanical CAD tools.ResponsibilitiesBuild solid test plans for features and perform end-to-end testing during development and release stagesCreate automations using internal automation tool and maintain automation test cases effectivenessAssist our managers in the evaluation, scope, and cost of projectsProvide regular status updates to QA managers for project status, overall quality status, and risksBe a customer champion throughout the development lifecycle to ensure that customer satisfaction is the highest priority quality measure for all productsPropose new ideas and learn about new technology and testing frameworksCollaborate with extended team members and build partnerships with other SQA teamsCommunicate testing and product requirements and testing timelines with other team membersMinimum QualificationsBSc. in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc) or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in a Software Quality Assurance or software testingDemonstrated customer centricity and zeal for qualityExperience in automation testingExperience working in large teams with lots of interdependenciesTeam player, reliability and demonstrated rigorExperience describing testing requirements and methodologies to extended team membersExperience working in Agile environmentProgramming/Scripting knowledge with Python or JavaScript (or related)Preferred QualificationsExperience with JIRA (or similar tools)Experience in Mechanical design software testing (CAD, CAM, etc.)Experience working with geographically distributed teamsLearn MoreAbout Autodesk
