The Plant Administrator is a critical support role within plant operations, responsible for financial administration, payroll, vendor coordination, production tracking, and compliance. Working closely with Plant and Operations Managers, this role ensures accurate reporting, cost control, efficient workflows, and adherence to company policies and safety standards across plant operations.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Create purchase orders, process receiving records in Ariba, and prepare check requisitions.
  • Support Plant Managers with expense tracking, p-card purchases, T&E reports, and cost reporting.
  • Track, issue, and monitor purchase requisitions for CAPEX projects and ensure cost accuracy of related work orders.
  • Track and allocate fuel consumption by site-specific equipment.
  • Ensure all vendors meet Amrize compliance requirements in Avetta and create and maintain vendor records in SAP.
  • Actively manage SAP workflows, resolve vendor invoice discrepancies and exceptions (including GR creation and invoice adjustments), and ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Partner with Plant Managers to track production, reprocessing, material movements, inventory reconciliation, and manufacturing KPI reporting.
  • Maintain tracking of equipment hours, issue maintenance notifications and work orders, and support preventative maintenance programs.
  • Process plant payroll, ensure accurate entry of regular and overtime hours, maintain employee files, and support labor tracking with proper cost center and work order coding.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of accounting or administrative experience, preferably in construction materials, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
Required Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Self-motivated team player with effective communication skills
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
