Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specificationCoordinate and supervise all trades and subcontractors on-siteEnsure strict adherence to food industry building standards and retrofit requirementsMaintain site documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and schedulesConduct regular site meetings with trades, consultants, and project managementIdentify and resolve on-site issues proactivelyEnforce health and safety protocols in accordance with company and legal standardsCollaborate with the Project Manager to maintain the project schedule and budgetQualifications:Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent on industrial or retrofit projectsProven track record in food facility retrofits, cold storage, or logistics buildings is a strong assetStrong understanding of industrial building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, structural)Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsValid driver’s license and ability to travel to site daily (Barrie, ON)Working knowledge of Ontario Building Code and OHSAContract Terms:Project-based contract (estimated duration: 8–12 months)Competitive contract rate based on experienceStart date: ASAP
