Job DescriptionYou will mainly be responsible for the verification, programming, service and inspection of fire alarm systems according to standards and codes. Among other things, your responsibilities will be:
  • Inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems;
  • Perform upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection;
  • Prepare inspection, verification and deficiency reports in a timely manner;
  • Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • CFAA certification;
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in service and inspection of fire protection systems;
  • Experience in programming fire alarm panels;
  • Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S524, S536 and S537;
  • Knowledge of Notifier products (an asset);
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Ability to work well independently;
  • Strong customer service skills.
