Location: Toronto, ON, Canada
Compensation Range: $/hr. to $/hr.Our client, a multinational technology company specializing in Information Technology Services and Consulting, is looking to hire a Database Developer - SQL/Oracle with AWS Cloud.Qualifications:
  • Business environment: Auto Insurance, P&C Insurance
  • Database Development: Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Create and maintain relational database schemas, optimizing table structures.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency through appropriate data modeling techniques.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures.
  • Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
  • Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Integrate data from various sources into a unified database environment.
  • Java Development: Analysis, design, and development of Java-based applications
  • High-level and detailed application designs
  • Writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code, ensuring code quality
  • Completing unit testing and supporting integration testing, end-to-end testing, and UAT
  • Common: Follow the change management process
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to understand their data requirements, provide technical guidance and support.
  • Working cooperatively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Experience in agile methodologies and ceremonies
Requirement:
  • Database developer - SQL / Oracle with AWS Cloud
  • Database Development: Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and database technologies.
  • Experience with any relational database is good (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Advanced skills in writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL queries
  • Experience in data modeling techniques and database design principles
  • Experience in identifying and resolving database performance issues
  • Knowledge of the AWS cloud platform
  • Java Development: Extensive experience in Java Development
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
  • Proficiency in Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
  • Knowledge in technologies - React, REST
