- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and referrals.
- Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing agricultural clients.
- Act as the main point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Promote and sell a portfolio of agricultural equipment and services.
- Prepare and deliver tailored sales proposals and conduct product presentations.
- Negotiate and close sales in alignment with business goals.
- Market & Product Knowledge:
- Stay up to date with product lines, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Understand customer operations to provide solutions that maximize their productivity.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Partner with marketing, operations, and service teams to align promotions and meet customer needs.
- Share customer insights to improve product offerings and customer service initiatives.
- Reporting & Administration:
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM systems.
- Submit forecasts, activity reports, and performance metrics as required.
- Customer Support & Issue Resolution:
- Respond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries and issues.
- Foster positive customer experiences to encourage retention and referrals.
- Education & Experience:
- 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in the agricultural or equipment industry.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Skills:
- Quick to learn and articulate technical product information.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools is an asset.
