MDSearch is recruiting CCFP-trained Hospitalist Physicians to join Inuvik Regional Hospital, the only hospital facility serving the Beaufort-Delta region. This role provides inpatient care for both adult and pediatric patients. No formal hospitalist certification is required, but candidates must be comfortable managing a broad inpatient scope across all ages.Compensation:
Hourly rate (no fee for service), along with on-call remuneration.Requirements:
  • CCFP (required)
  • Comfortable caring for adult and pediatric inpatients
  • Eligible for licensure in the Northwest Territories

  • Travel stipend up to $2,000 for locums travelling to Inuvik

Licensing & Credentialing:
Not licensed yet: NWT licensing and credentialing procedures takes 6 weeks to complete and is quite similar to other jurisdictions. The initial licensing & registration fee in the NWT is $383.
