Type: Full-Time, ContractAbout the OpportunitySRA Staffing is hiring a Technical Analyst V – Workday Finance on behalf of a leading insurance organization undergoing continued digital transformation across its financial systems landscape.This role plays a critical part in managing and optimizing Workday Finance solutions, driving business process improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives. The organization is focused on operational excellence, financial governance, and continuous modernization of enterprise systems.This position combines technical expertise, business analysis, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement in a dynamic, enterprise environment.Role OverviewThe Technical Analyst V will lead and support Information Systems (IS) and business initiatives related to Workday Finance. You will act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring financial systems are effectively configured, optimized, and aligned with organizational objectives.This role requires strong configuration experience within Workday Finance modules, combined with project management capabilities, vendor management, and change leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead or support IS and business initiatives, managing timelines, stakeholder communication, and end-to-end delivery.Manage and support Workday Finance systems, including configurations, workflows, security, integrations, and enhancements.Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify key drivers, and recommend technology-enabled solutions.Develop business cases and strategic recommendations, including cost-benefit analysis, implementation planning, and training strategies.Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and implement workflow and process improvements.Support validation and UAT activities to ensure delivered solutions meet user expectations and compliance standards.Act as Project Manager and/or Scrum Master for smaller initiatives.Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration notes, and user training materials.Support release readiness activities and coordinate system updates, patches, and enhancements with minimal disruption.Manage vendor relationships, negotiate deliverables, and ensure service accountability.Balance multiple assignments while maintaining high quality and delivery standards.What You BringBachelor's degree (minimum education requirement).10+ years of progressive IT experience, focused on business systems analysis, financial systems, and enterprise solution delivery.5+ years of hands-on Workday Finance experience.Minimum 2 years of end-to-end Workday Finance implementation experience covering:General LedgerAccounts ReceivableAccounts PayableBillingMinimum 2 years of experience with:Financial Data Model (FDM)WorktagsBIRT ReportingWorkday APIsExposure to Workday StudioStrong experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.Proven ability to explore alternative solution options and recommend designs that exceed business requirements.Core CompetenciesVendor management and negotiation skillsStrategic thinking and change management expertiseStrong project management capabilitiesExcellent presentation and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities effectivelySelf-starter with strong initiative and accountabilityPreferred ExperienceExperience within insurance or financial services environmentsExperience leading financial system transformations or optimization initiativesExperience supporting enterprise-level integrations and reporting solutionsHow to ApplyEmail your resume to AnushaS@srastaffing.comSRA Staffing and our clients are equal opportunity employers committed to diversity, accessibility, and inclusion.
