Brief Description:Our employer is leading Canadian insurer is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program/Delivery Manager to lead large, strategic, and complex enterprise initiatives spanning technology and business workstreams. This role is accountable for delivery governance, cost, scope, and timeline, reporting directly to Executive and C-level stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive Agile delivery across multiple teams (including vendors), manage interdependencies, and champion innovation and efficiency.Job Function:
- Develop and manage integrated program/sprint plans, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
- Lead Agile teams, manage interdependencies, and promote transparency, predictability, and collaboration.
- Partner with Technology Leads and Architecture to define and communicate delivery roadmaps to executives.
- Oversee program financials, risk management, and SOW negotiations.
- Mentor project teams and implement process improvements.
- Report regularly to executive leadership on program progress and KPIs.
Job Requirement:
- 10+ years in project, program, and portfolio management with a focus on technical delivery.
- Strong background in governance frameworks, IT service/operations management, financial management, and risk analysis.
- Expertise in Project Management and Software Development Lifecycles (PMLC & SDLC).
- 3-5 years of Agile delivery experience.
- Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Kanban, and Microsoft Project.
- Exceptional communication skills; able to translate complex technical processes into plain language for senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing $10M+ enterprise initiatives involving multiple vendors.
