
Terminal Maintenance Operator - Sudbury Terminal

- Employee will be evaluated against IOL's Task Responsibility Tracker (TRT) and SAP work order execution and compliance with all SSHE (Safety, Security, Health & Environment) objectives and policies
- Conduct day-to-day business in accordance with and in compliance with IO business frameworks of Operations Integrity, Product Quality, Controls Integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Actively participate in all scheduled meetings
- Work with various engineering support groups to implement and execute terminal upgrades, maintenance and changes
- Complete Management of Change documents up to CFO standards for changes
- Complete QA on changes for new installation. (eg. Commissioning, red lining of drawings and publishing)
- Ensure terminal equipment is maintained to operating standards
- Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining terminal and loading rack equipment such as pumps, flow control valves, meters, actuators and strainers
- Participate in emergency response simulations
- Maintain security of company assets and property at the terminal
- Ensure that the quality of all services/contractors meet the company standards and expectations
- Execute assigned operational and maintenance task use Imperial standards and programs
- Coordinates and monitors site driver observation program. (including testing, compliance checks, orienting new drivers)
- Interface with customers to manage site outages and limit product unavailability
- Working knowledge of procedures and governmental regulations that affect distribution operations
- Participate in incident notification, investigation, and reporting process
- Other tasks as assigned by the Terminal Superintendent
- Preferred to have previous mechanical & electrical experience and/or electrical certification (i.e. electrician)
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in Oil and Gas Industrial Maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical system, Multiload, TMS, and PLC knowledge is highly desirable.
- Trained in product quality testing, gauging, tankage and pumping systems
- Conducts all business and operations with the mindset of safety first by observing all safety rules and ensuring that safety is taken into consideration in all activities such as projects, procedures and practices.
- Ensures compliance to standards within Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) and Global Product Quality Management System (GPQMS). This includes, but is not limited to, material management, physical asset management, processing payables, adherence to delegation of authority guidelines, and compliance to ethics and conflict of interest policies.
- Understands and complies with plant environmental, health, safety and quality policies.
- Interfaces with third party contacts. (i.e. various maintenance contractors)
- Develops personal safety plans and stewards with management as requested
