Active PositionA nationally recognized architecture and design firm with offices across Canada is seeking a Senior Project Architect, Senior Associate (Aviation) to join its Toronto team. The firm works across multiple sectors including commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, public, industrial, transportation, and aviation.The OpportunityThis is a senior leadership role requiring proven aviation project experience. The successful candidate will provide high-level design direction, oversee complex projects from concept through construction, mentor team members, and contribute to business development and client relationship management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design process from concept through construction documentation and contract administrationProvide senior design oversight on large, complex aviation projectsGuide and mentor project teamsCollaborate with project managers on scope, budgets, schedules, and staffingLead client meetings, presentations, and consultant coordinationEnsure compliance with applicable codes and regulatory authoritiesContribute to business development, proposal submissions, and client pursuitsSupport firm leadership in resourcing, performance management, and operational initiativesQualificationsBachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited programRegistered Architect in good standing with a provincial regulatory body15+ years of professional experience, including significant aviation project workStrong leadership and project management experienceExperience delivering complex public sector or institutional projectsAbility to manage multidisciplinary teams and client relationshipsProficiency in Revit (AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite considered assets)Strong communication, presentation, and business development skillsEligibility for required security clearances considered an assetWhats OfferedLeadership opportunity within a well-established national firmExposure to high-profile aviation and public-sector projectsCollaborative, design-focused cultureProfessional growth and mentorship opportunitiesFlexible, balanced work environment in a central Toronto locationThis is a confidential search.
