Edmonton, AB T5V 1M7Maxim is currently seeking a TRAILER TECHNICIAN for our Edmonton Location. The successful candidate will work independently to complete the diagnostics, service and repair of heavy duty trucks and trailers. - Two week rotation of day and evening shifts required
- Weekend Shift
- Performs body and frame repair including Interior and exterior wall panel repair/replacement, roof and floor repair/replace, side rail and frame repair/replace
- Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair trailers
- Identify potential and future problems
- Make recommendations on repairs or replacement parts
- Update the Service Manager on completion time changes
- Road test the unit to ensure quality of work completed
- Document repairs, parts, or problems encountered during repair process on repair order
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Trailer Journeyman designation or equivalent experience
- Experience in trailer body and frame repair
- Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade
- Safety Inspections Certificate an asset and may become required
- Valid Class One with Air Driver’s License an asset (for road testing)
